Some quotations to remember

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who matter
don't mind, and those that mind, don't matter."

-Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel)

"Don't worry about people stealing an idea. If it's original,
you will have to ram it down their throats."

-Howard Aiken

"The tears that you spill, the sorrowful, are sweeter than the
laughter of snobs and the guffaws of scoffers."

-Kahlil Gibran

Ideas pull the trigger, but instinct loads the gun."

-Don Marquis

The human mind is like a TV set. When it goes blank, it's a
good idea to turn off the sound.

-Anon

Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.

Introduction for the blog

Welcome to my first personal blog site. Their is several reasons that I have opened this blog site. I will leave this open to anyone who maybe interested in some of the content here. I work on little personal projects at home on my spare time. I will post information and pictures about them.

Another reason is my browser holds all of my favorites but thier is times that I'm using a public library computer or someone else's computer (repairing, upgrading, traveling, etc), so I need some saved hyper-links on this site to see.

About my self.

There is a lot of people in the world who has name. So allow me to personalize this for you.

My name is William St. John (people who I grew up with call me Willie, though some people do call me just Will.  I was born in Tulsa Oklahoma. I have never lived out of state (that might help those thinking of someone else that is out of Oklahoma). I do like to travel but I will mention it more later. I lived in Tulsa from 1962 (6 months) and 1970-96 so I know my way around in the city. I have moved 6 miles south of Pawhuska Okla into a new doublewide in 2002. I am 1/2 Osage (father's side) and I now live on the indian reservation. I'm also 1/4 French (mother's side).

I will turn 45 in April of 2007 (gee, that makes feel old) But like my father used to say, "It's not the age, it's the milelage".

I graduated from Nathern Hale High School in 1982 and attended Spartan School of Aeronautics and received a Associates degree in Aviation, Instrument, and electronics in 1984.

Worked for Flight Safety International "A leading aviation traning company.", and worked their from 1985 to 1998 as an instrument technician (building cockpit instruments for flight simulators). Their  assembly plant is in Broken Arrow Ok. They built and shipped whole flight simulators around the world.

In 1997, I took a 6 month crash course for a two year cerificate in Telecommunications.at Central Tech in Drumright Ok.  In June 1998 I went to work to then called WorldCom, then it became MCI WorldCom, then onto MCI and we have been bought out by Verizon. We now call ourselves Verizon Busness. I'm not sure how to write a resume with all of the name changes in the last 8 years. I work thier as a remote install technician turning up different types of voice, internet including broadband T-1 for large busness customers all around in the U.S from a computer in the office. I make network remote cross connects, I get into switches and turnup customers but we in Tulsa are not allowed to do translations work. I stay on top of LEC and on-net dispatches to customer's sites (for installing lines).

The company will be moving this work over seas next year and I may be trained to do tech support or do install engineer work next year for the overseas techs.

I have been married since November 1996 (10 years now) and I have two children.

If you need to contact me, my email address is william.stjohn@gmail.com

(I have no clue what my blood type is, LOL Whew!)
